Wing

A creative non-fiction story about flying a small airplane, a 1947 Piper Cub Supercruiser, around Ottawa Canada in 1977. This story was originally published in a collection by the Mahone Bay Centre Lifewriters group in 2011. It is dedicated to Arla in Victoria for kindly acting as the initial driving force behind this first attempt at literary writing.

  1. Oh, Steve.. This is quite beautiful! Your writing style is, indeed, relaxing but also rife with talent, emotion, and intelligence. Whoever would have imagined the wing of an airplane being the recipient of such love! I want to read more; the world deserves your magnificence! We are here, at this time in the history of humanity, to bestow such beauty on a world gone mad. Thank you for sharing this tidbit today with me…
